Grahn
School Community Center is a WPA structure that served first
as the Grahn High School, then as the Grahn Elementary School,
before the people of the community decided to preserve their
former school building by turning it into a community center.
This
pattern was one of the Cabot patterns published in the Chicago
Tribune in 1937 written by Loretta Lertner Rising as Nancy
Cabot.
