Churn Dash
Kentucky
State Highway 11,
Montgomery
County |
The Churn Dash Pattern is one
of the older and more popular
patterns around and it is easy to
make. It contains simple traditional
blocks. Like all patterns, there are
other names that the block could be
known as: Broken Plate, Double Monkey
Wrench, Fisherman’s Reel, Hole in the
Barn Door, and Indian Hammer to name
a few.
This block is in honor of Becky Hill's
passion for quilt making and in celebration of her 20 year dream
becoming a reality. Her dream
was to have her own quilt shop and that dream has come true with the Sterling
Thimble Quilt Shop.
Local Amenities: Sterling Thimble Quilt Shop, Mt.Sterling City Limits.
